'Raj Incorporated' formerly known as 'Dilip Plastics' was established in the year 1978. Mr. Dilip Shah, Promoter and Chairman of Raj Incorporated is the sole architect of the company. 'Dilip Plastics' was established with intention of providing best quality products & effective customer service in the field of high-end plastics which was plagues with inefficiency and licence raj in those days. Mr. Dilip Shah came up with the idea of "All type of plastic films & sheets under one roof."

The company immediately captured huge market share and instantly became popular in the field of plastics and joined hands with many well known giants in the field like GE (General Electric) now known as Sabic Innovative Plastics (UAE), PPG group (USA), Caprihans India Ltd., Calico Chemicals & Plastics (Sarabhai group) etc.

By mid-90s when Indian Economy opened up it was time to go global. The company established its own manufacturing unit of virgin PVC films and sheets and also recycling plant to maintain its environmental standards in Union Territory of Daman.

Company also saw a huge potential in our neighbouring countries like China, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore & hands with big international players like Mansu Exporters, Jiangsu Huaxin, Formosa Corporation etc. Company started importing impeccable quality of material and brought many new innovative products in the Indian market.

In the year 2003 'Dilip Plastics' was renamed 'Raj Incorporated' to rejuvenate company with changing times and modernise it without changing the core values, management team and business. Today Dilip Plastic Group consists of multiple companies engaged in manufacturing and trading of different products.

Company has achieved many milestones till date:-

• In 1980 company was the most treasured distributor of Calico Chemical & Plastics winning the best marketing award

• Company won best distributor award of GE (now known as Sabic Innovative plastics) three consecutive years in a row from 1993-1995

• Raj Incorporated became the sole distributor of Formosa group in India for special grade of PVC films and sheets.
